The World of Discovery began in a three-room school house in 1993.  Since that time, we have expanded 4 times and added a second location to accommodate the community's growing need for quality care.  We are a family owned and operated center and being parents ourselves we understand first- hand how unique and special each child is. 

The World of Discovery has flourished and grown because:

  • We cater to the individual needs of each child and parent

  •  We are a developmental preschool- children are never rushed or held back because of age

  • The center is equipped with a security system

  • Classrooms are monitored by surveillance cameras

  • Doors are secured with a pass code system

  • Our youngest friends enjoy a separate, age appropriate outside play area

  • Several times throughout the year we host after school family events: which include but not limited to Fall Festival, Winter Wonderland, Annual Art Show, Pot Lucks and Graduation for Kindergarten just to name a few.

  • Our Londonderry Campus is conveniently located next to the Park and Ride and 1/2 a mile from Exit 5 on Interstate 93

  • The Manchester Campus is just 5 miles down the road located between Huse and Mammoth Road

  •  Do you offer part-time along with full time?

Part-time is available.  Limited part-time spaces are available. Before and After Moose Hill Kindergarten care available

  • What are the hours of operation?   

​We are open from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm.  

​

  • Are you open year-round?

Yes!  Families are happy to know that they are entitled to one free week of vacation per enrollment year to use at their discretion.

​

  • Is there a registration fee?

There is no registration, however, a non-refundable deposit of one-half of the first week's tuition is required at the time of enrollment to guarantee your spot.  This deposit will be credited to your first week's tuition.

  • What is included?  

  1. Nutritious Morning and Afternoon snacks

  2. Milk with lunch

  3. Daily planned activities

  4. Hugs at no extra cost

  5. One free week per year for vacation

  6. **Optional hot lunch available at additional cost**

 

  • What are the ratios?

 Infants:  1 to 4 ratios with three groups
Toddlers:  1 to 5 ratios with 3 groups
Preschool:  1 to 8 ratios with 2 groups
Pre-Kindergarten:  1 to 12 ratios with 2 groups
Kindergarten:  1 to 15 ratios with one group
